The rules and regulations regarding the use of information technology are articulated through policies and standards, which determine the types of IT activities that are approved for both state agencies and employees. Policies and standards are two of several interrelated components that comprise the overarching Enterprise Architecture framework. Other components of the framework include principles that guide procurement decisions and support business processes. In addition to policies and standards, this section also includes information about the Enterprise Project Management Office, the Commonwealth's IT governance process, and IT strategic planning.
